Education

Arianna Cimino is a chemical engineer who obtained both bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Salerno in Italy, where she focused on the study and application of polymeric materials. For her bachelor's thesis, she investigated the supercritical impregnation of active compounds in polymeric supports for the production of anti-cellulite patches. She continued her academic path with a master's thesis focused on the supercritical foaming and impregnation of PBAT and PBAT/talc films with alpha-tocopherol, exploring their potential use in cosmetic applications.

Research

After completing her studies, Arianna joined the Polymer Technology Group at the University of Salerno as a research fellow. During this time, she worked on the 3D printing of semi-crystalline and amorphous polymers, investigating their behavior and performance to identify suitable materials for different practical applications.
