Education

Javier completed his degree on Chemistry and Materials Engineering in Universidad de Sevilla in 2021.
Then, he worked as a research assistant on the Organic Chemistry Department of the same university, on the synthesis of heterocycles, ADCs and iminosugars under the supervision of Prof. José Antonio Moreno-Vargas.
In 2024, he obtained his MSc in Soft Matter at Universidade da Coruña and Université Paris Cité. He carried out his master thesis on the elaboration of nanocomposites detection and capture of metallic ions.

Research

Javier is pursuing his Ph.D. in Chemistry in POLYMAT under the supervision of Prof. Aurelio Mateo-Alonso. His research is focused in the Synthesis of Nanographenes and Covalent Organic Frameworks.
