Education

Maliheh Razavi earned her BS degree in Chemical Engineering in 2014 in Iran. After that, she then began researching job analysis and smart organizations which led to creating job and training standards for employees at the Technical and Vocational Training Organization in Iran.In 2019, she moved to South Korea and began master by research in Environmental Engineering at the University of Ulsan, under supervision of Prof. Byeong-Kyu Lee, where she studied photocatalysis. She is currently MSCA fellow in the NIPU-EJD program.

Research

During her bachelor's degree and even after, her research focused on molecular dynamics simulation of metal particles, which piqued her curiosity about how the properties of materials change with their shape and size on a small scale. Her master's thesis explored the photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants, and the production of hydrogen and hydrogen peroxide, primarily by controlling the shape, size, and porosity of the graphitic-carbon nitride as a photocatalyst. Currently, her research focuses on developing innovative methods for recycling and upcycling of non-Isocyanate Polyurethanes (NIPUs). Her interests are green chemistry, sustainability, and smart organizations.
