Education

"Paul holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Polymeric Material from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and a Master's degree in Chemistry and Polymers with a specialization in Polymers from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).
Throughout his academic career, he has gained experience in the 3D printing using FDM technique, thermal characterization, microscopy and rheology in his Bachelor´s Degree Final Project (named Effect of 3D processing parameters on the fibrillation of the dispersed phase in PP/PET blends), supervised by Dr. Robert Aguirresarobe and Dr. Itxaso Calafel. His master's thesis focused on the optimization of a new 3D printing technique using powder polymers (PA12) by creating a process, where a previous 2D printing was performed to the sample, to study the capability of a new polymer to be printed in SLS technique. This project was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Robert Aguirresarobe and Dr. Itxaso Calafel.
