Education

Maider del Gallego obtained the Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country in 2022, with honours in Inorganic Chemistry. In 2024, she obtained her Master's Degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Alicante, with honours in Asymmetric Catalysis.

Research

On her Bachelor's thesis, Maider worked on the Optimisation of the Process for Obtaining NASICON-Type Solid Electrolytes, while her Master's thesis was based on the Synthesis of Chiral Terbium MOFs in Eutectic Liquids as a Sustainable Reaction Medium and its Applications in Catalysis.
Maider is currently a PhD student in POLYMAT under the guidance of Dr. Irune Villaluenga. Her research topic is polymer electrolyte materials for solid organic batteries.
