From September 8th to 12th, we had the privilege of hosting the Emulsion Polymerization Processes Course in the stunning city of Donostia-San Sebastián. This year's event brought together 40 attendees from all over the world, creating an enriching and diverse learning environment.

Participants had the opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of emulsion polymerization, expanding their knowledge and exchanging ideas with industry experts and fellow professionals. Throughout the week, attendees explored a broad range of topics, including:

🔬 Features and kinetics of emulsion polymerization
⚗️ Stability of polymer colloids and particle size distribution
💡 Advanced research on controlled/living radical polymerizations (CFRP)
🧪 Reactor design, on-line monitoring and process control
🎨 Film formation of waterborne coatings and biobased polymer dispersions

They also had the chance to visit POLYMAT laboratories, engage in hands-on discussions during the latex characterization seminar, and connect with peers at the conference dinner—making this an unforgettable experience both scientifically and personally.
