Hydrogen Fuel cells and electrolysers


New polymeric materials for the different stages of hydrogen technology from green hydrogen production by electrolysis to proton exchange membrane fuel cells. This includes: i) multifunctional advanced polymer materials for Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEA) to promote water electrolysis process, ii) hydrogen storage polymers that can reversibly fix and release hydrogen under mild chemical reactions for safe hydrogen storage, and iii) new proton exchange membranes based on protic polymers and Organic Ionic Plastic Crystals to break the temperature limits and humidity requirements of current PEM fuel cells.
