POLYMAT Hosts "Machine Learning for Polymer Science" Course
POLYMAT recently held the "Machine Learning for Polymer Science" course in San Sebastian. The successful event was organized and led by POLYMAT researcher Nicholas Ballard, with excellent coordination by Project Manager Monica Moreno. The course brought together researchers, teachers, and professionals to learn how artificial intelligence and computer data are changing the way we create new materials.
During the program, participants learned how to use machine learning to design better and more sustainable polymers. The course included presentations from top experts working at universities and big companies, such as Microsoft Research, Arkema, and Covestro. They shared real examples of how they use artificial intelligence in their daily work and laboratories.
Thanks to the hard work of Nicholas and Monica, the event was very interactive. Young researchers had the time to ask questions, share their ideas, and connect with industry leaders. This course helps build a strong community of scientists who are ready to use digital tools to create the sustainable materials of the future.
