On June 8, Karol Jagodzinski successfully defended his PhD thesis at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Chemistry. His dissertation, Sustainable Binders and Additives for Advanced Lithium-Ion Batteries, was supervised by Dr. Nicola Boaretto (CIC energiGUNE) and Dr. Nerea Casado (POLYMAT, EHU).

The thesis focused on the development of sustainable binders and additives for advanced lithium-ion batteries, contributing to the advancement of more efficient, high-performance, and environmentally sustainable energy storage technologies.

The examination committee was chaired by Prof. David Mecerreyes (POLYMAT, EHU), with Dr. Guiomar Hernandez (Uppsala Universitet) serving as Secretary and Dr. Edgar Ventosa (Universidad de Burgos) as Committee Member.
