As the year comes to an end, POLYMAT would like to extend warm season’s greetings and best wishes for the New Year to all its research staff, as well as to the many institutions, partners, companies, and individuals who support our work on a daily basis.

POLYMAT is a truly international community, bringing together more than 200 people from over 35 nationalities. This diversity is one of our greatest strengths and a key driver of our scientific excellence.

For those who will be travelling in the coming days, we wish you a safe and pleasant journey home and an enjoyable time with your loved ones.

We look ahead to 2026 with enthusiasm and ambition: a year that we hope will be marked by further scientific advances, stronger collaboration between companies and institutions, and continued improvement in the quality and impact of our research. It will also be a year of change and new beginnings, with the launch of a renewed brand identity, the farewell to our current logo, and the start of a new stage in the Ikerbasque building.
