POLYMAT is proud to congratulate Hevea3D, our spin-off company, for being awarded the 2025 Prize for the Best New Innovative Initiative at the XXV Manuel Laborde Werlinden Awards. This recognition highlights the scientific strength, technological vision and maturity of the project, as well as its potential to make a meaningful impact in the field of advanced materials.

Hevea3D has been distinguished for its breakthrough in the fabrication of real elastomeric materials through light-based 3D printing. Working with natural or synthetic latex in water, the team has developed a method to produce elastic pieces with rubber-like properties without the need for molds. This innovation enables new possibilities for sustainable, high-performance elastomeric manufacturing. The prize includes €7,000 together with continued support and mentoring from BIC Gipuzkoa to accelerate the development of the initiative.
