With the start of the new academic year, the POLYMAT seminar series has also resumed. These seminars provide an excellent platform for sharing experiences between research groups and offer PhD students a valuable opportunity to learn how to present and communicate their scientific work effectively. They are an important space for fostering discussion, collaboration, and professional development within our research community.

This year’s series opened with a lecture by Prof. Manuel Arruebo (University of Zaragoza) entitled “Advanced Materials for the Diagnosis, Treatment, and Monitoring of Infectious and Inflammatory Processes”, held on September 19th at the Korta Building Auditorium and also streamed online. We would like to thank Dr. M. Ali Aboudzadeh for inviting Prof. Arruebo and Dr. Daniele Mantione for coordinating the entire seminar series at POLYMAT. The upcoming seminars will feature invited speakers selected by Prof. David Mecerreyes.
