From November 7 to 9, Polymat researchers participated in Zientzia Astea (Science Week), organized by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), alongside colleagues from the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC), CIC nanoGUNE, and CFM-Materials Physics Center. Together, they hosted the interactive stand "Exploring the World of Materials" at Tabakalera, open to schools and the general public.

This year, Polymat also introduced the Workshop “Plastics: Recycle, Reuse and Reinvent”, designed for children aged 6 to 11. Held on November 9, the activity familiarized participants with the fascinating world of polymers, highlighted the importance of recycling and reusing materials, and demonstrated how to create new polymers from waste biomass.

Zientzia Astea continues to be a vital platform for fostering curiosity and engaging the community in the wonders of science and sustainability.
