Today, the Carlos Santamaría in San Sebastian hosted Polymat Day 2024, a remarkable event filled with groundbreaking research and inspiring discussions.

The day showcased the work of our talented Polymat researchers: Radmila Tomovska, Marcelo Calderón, Irune Villaluenga, Itxaso Calafel, and Marta Ximenis, who presented their latest advances.

We were also privileged to hear from our invited speakers, Henri Cramail and Maider Zabala, who enriched the day with their insights.

A touching moment was the recognition of Prof. José María Asua, who steps down as Scientific Director of POLYMAT after years of visionary leadership. His contributions have left an indelible mark on our institution.

Looking to the future, we are excited to welcome Prof. David Mecerreyes as our new Scientific Director. His inspiring words today reflected his commitment to leading Polymat into a new era of excellence.
