POLYMAT participates in EKIOECEAN project
We are delighted to announce our participation in the EKIOCEAN project!
EKIOCEAN aims to invest in cutting-edge floating potential technology (FFVF) in the maritime sector, fostering knowledge to boost industry development and create business opportunities for the Basque industry.
Led by TECNALIA Research & Innovation, this collaboration brings together six scientific and technological agents, including AZTI, UPV/EHU's Department of Energy Engineering (IE), POLYMAT, BCAM - Basque Center for Applied Mathematics, and the Basque Energy Cluster, with support from the Basque Government through the #Elkartek program.
At POLYMAT, we're proud to lead the development of sustainable floating structures in new materials: ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) and biocomposites with integrated photovoltaic modules, both with durable high-performance coatings to minimize biofouling.
