Education

Anto Puthussery Varghese earned his B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Federal Institute of Science And Technology(FISAT) on March 2016, in August 2018 he was awarded M.Tech in Nanotechnology and renewable energy from Amrita centre for nanosciences and molecular medicine. His Master's thesis was supervised by Dr Dhamodaran Santhangopalan with specialization on nanomaterials for energy storage. He earned a second master's in Engineering business management from Coventry University in September 2021.

Research

His bachelor's thesis focused on the use of machine learning for facial recognition applications. An application was developed by means of the C++ programming and OpenCV library. The resulting application was able to capture real time images and to realize continuous recognition of faces.
His first master's thesis focussed on nanomaterials for li-ion battery applications. He published two research works during this period. The first one studied the use reactive DC-sputter deposited Co3O4 thin films as a promising and stable Li-ion battery anode. The performance of the anodes was related to the formation of 5-nm primary particles and columnar growth morphology. The second work studied the intercalation and conversion reactions of OrthorhombicMoO3 . Two new full-cell chemistries was reported , MoO3 cathode against, (i) prelithiatedMoO3 anode with operating voltage of 1.5 Vand (ii) a prelithiated Si@TiO2 core–shell nanoparticle anode with operating voltage of 2.0 V.

His second mater's thesis focussed on Business performance and sustainability investigated the sustainable practices in grocery retail sector in UK to create an understanding into how profitability can be maintained while implementing change
