Position

Currently, she is doing the PhD under the supervision of Dr. Robert Hernández Aguirresarobe and Dra. Mercedes Fernández in Rheology Group and Dr. Nicholas Ballard in Polymerization Processes Group. Her research is focused on the 3D Additive Manufacturing of vitrimers.

Education

Laura Ballester Bayarri obtained her BSc in Chemical Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València in 2019. She did her Bachelor Project about the Design of a System to collect plastics waste in the ocean, and was introduced to the International Congress on Project Management and Engineering.
After that, she moved to Donostia where she carried out her Master's Degree in Applied Chemistry and Polymeric Materials in 2020 at the Universitiy of Basque Country, obtaining a specialization in polymers. During 2020, she developed her final Master Thesis, which deals about the study of PBS/PCL polymeric mixtures with random copolymers in the Advanced Multiphasic Polymers Group (AMP) in Polymat.
