Education

Ana Clara Rolandi obtained her degree in Materials Engineering (2020) at the Nacional University of Mar del Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina). During her thesis, she studied green corrosion inhibitors for construction steel, at the Applied Electrochemistry division of the Research Institute for Materials Science and Technology (Argentina). The work was carried out under the direction of Dra. Beatriz Valcarce (CONICET) and Dra. Marcela Vazquez (CONICET).

Research

At POLYMAT, Ana Clara will work under the supervision of Prof. David Mecerreyes on green polymers for the circular economy of batteries. The project, which is a cotutelle agreement with Deakin University (Australia), will focus on synthesising and screening water-soluble polymeric binders for Li-ion batteries.
