Education

Marta Martínez-Abadía obtained her degree in Chemistry in 2010 at the University of Zaragoza. In 2009 she spent three months at the Instituto de Carboquímica (ICB) with a JAE-Intro fellowship, where she worked on the preparation and characterization of structured catalyst supports coated with carbon nanofibers (CNFs), synthesized by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). In 2010 she started her Ph.D. in the Liquid Crystal and Polymer group of the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Aragón (ICMA) with a JAE-Predoctoral fellowship awarded by CSIC. Her thesis was focused on the preparation and study of supramolecular organizations of luminescent bent-core molecules, and was performed under the supervision of Dr. Raquel Giménez and Prof. M. Blanca Ros. She finished her Ph.D. in September 2015.

Research

Her current research interest is focused on the synthesis and characterization of covalent organic frameworks.
