Education

Pauline Bron obtained a bachelor and a master degree in chemistry, science of matter at the University of Montpellier, in France.
During these years, she studied abroad at the « Universidad Complutense » in Madrid as part of Erasmus program during 6 months.
She developed a real interest for environmental sciences and more particularly in environmental chemistry and polymers.

Research

Pauline did her master internship in the area of biosourced polymer at the ICGM laboratory in Montpellier (France) under the supervision of Dr Sylvain Caillol and Dr Benoit Briou.
She was using monomers from cashew nut shell oil (CNSL) to find an alternative to bisphenol A currently used for resin syntheses.
She also worked on several green projects including the partial dehydrogenation of kerosene to produce hydrogen or again on biosurfactant for syntheses of mesomaterials.
Pauline is now taking part of the NIPU-EJD european project to do her thesis on « Design of isocyanate free polyhydroxyurethane vitrimers for recycling »,
under the supervision of Lourdes Irusta (Polymat, San Sebastian) in Spain and Vincent Ladmiral (ICGM, Montpellier) in France.
