Education

Mohammad completed his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology (Isfahan, Iran) in September 2016, with an undergraduate project on ABS/PC blends.
In March 2019, he obtained his Master's degree in Polymer Engineering with a first-class degree from Tarbiat Modares University (Tehran, Iran), after defending his thesis on "Rational design of graphene surface chemistry and investigating its effects on nitrogen gas permeability and vulcanization kinetics of SBR nanocomposites".
He currently is a PhD student in "Engineering of Materials and Sustainable Processes (Biopolymers, and Thermoplastic Materials)" at the University of the Basque Country.

Research

Throughout his research career, he has worked on various subject areas of polymer science & engineering, polymer-graphene nanocomposites, rubber compounds, adhesion, gas transport in polymers, stimuli-responsive polymers, and structure-property relationship in polymeric materials. The results of his research works have been published in well-known journals and presented at international conferences. Notably, he is a volunteer reviewer for the Journal of Applied Polymer Science, Polymer-Plastics Technology and Materials, and several other journals.
Since October 2021, Mohammad joined the Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering, POLYMAT, to begin his PhD research on "Stereocomplexation in polylactides: looking for improvements of PLLA thermal, and mechanical properties for biomedical applications" under the supervision of Prof. A. Etxeberria, Dr. J. M. Ugartamendia, and Prof. J. R. Sarasua.
