Ander Gonzalez de Txabarri earned his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2019, with a final research project on the development of new photoacid generators (PAG) based on naphtalimide and anthrone rings for the photocatalyzed polymerization of Ɛ-caprolactone.
In 2020, he obtained his Master's Degree in Chemistry and Polymers from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), after presenting his final research project on the use of modified polysaccharides as emulsifiers for the encapsulation of cosmetic oils, carried out at CIDETEC Nanomedicine (Donostia – San Sebastian).

Ander has worked in various research projects regarding bioapplicable and biobased systems. He has worked on the development of new modified catalysts based on modified prolines (QBMM group, UPV/EHU, 2017) and a new electrophoretical protein separation system for nanopore characterization (Adolphe Merkle Institute, 2018).
His current PhD, in co-direction with the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour (UPPA), is focused on the development of acrylic and methacrylic polymers based on terpenoids obtained from biological sources (pine), under the supervision of Dr. Jose M. Asua and Dr. Laurent Billon.
